AAGOC offers a lively mix of fun and games.
Enjoy a Mother’s Day Brunch, a Fourth of July celebration with golf, dinner, and fireworks, a Midsummer Party, a Labor Day FUNdraiser for Folds of Honor, and a festive Holiday Party.
AAGOC has two of the truest, bluest courts in town and the setting is idyllic. The little tennis club house, Angell House, is a happy gathering place. The tennis season includes clinics and mixers. Regular foursomes have been playing here for years – they know this is one sweet spot for court sports.
Drop-in pickle ball on Wednesdays is a big hit.
Party, anyone? Angell House and the courts may be rented by members and non-members.
AAGOC’s Malloy Lounge is filled with concentration, strategy and fellowship – it’s time for bridge! The Women’s Bridge Group gathers on Thursday afternoons. The Evening Bridge Group meets on alternate Tuesday evenings and is open to men and women.
Maybe your game is mahjong … or maybe you want to learn. AAGOC’s drop in Mahjong Group meets on Wednesday afternoons.
Monthly euchre tournaments are offered on Thursday nights from November through March. With its warm fireplace and ample room, the upper dining room is a perfect setting for hosting these tournaments which accommodate up to 48 players.
