Golf has been played here on this gently rolling 38 acres for over 120 years. Back then it was a horse ride out of town. Today the course offers hilltop views of the growing Ann Arbor skyline and an up-close look at the colossal UM Stadium scoreboard.

  • Junior Golf
    • PGA Junior League Golf is a fun, social and inclusive opportunity for boys and girls, ages 13 and under, to learn and enjoy the game of golf from PGA and LPGA Professionals.  Like many other recreational youth sports, participants wear numbered jerseys and play on teams with friends. In 2017, AAGOC partnered with Stonebridge Golf Club to host this program.

AAGOC Juniors – Fun on the Fairway

The AAGOC Junior Program offers a friendly, easy-learning environment for 5 to 17 year olds that includes lessons and supervised play.

Junior golfers participate in 2, 5, 9 or 18-hole groups according to ability. The Tuesday morning sessions begin with a 30 minute lesson, followed by course play.  An end-of-season tournament wraps up the summer fun.

The AAGOC Junior Program partners with Georgetown Country Club (CTCC) Junior Program, alternating play at the two courses. Children and grandchildren of AAGOC & CTCC members are welcome to join.

Nine holes are played from two sets of tees to make up a course of eighteen holes. There are a two options:

  • White/Black Tees
    • Men: Par 66, Course Rating 65.0, Slope Rating 106
    • Women: Par 72, Course Rating 69.9, Slope Rating 125
  • Blue/Gold Tees
    • Men: Par 70, Course Rating 63.8, Slope Rating 105
    • Women: Par 70, Course Rating 68.4, Slope Rating 120

The course is a walking course.  Riding carts can be arranged for special circumstances.

Course Tour

Par 3/4; Yardage: 224/228
Men’s Handicap: 14/13; Women’s Handicap: 16/15

The contours of the fairway and the green, as well the placement of the left bunker, encourage golfers to play the tee shot down the right side. It is a par four for women and a long par three for men. The green is pitched severely right to left so that an approach shot of any length needs to be placed well right and short of the green. Right-side pin placements produce big breaking fast putts. The left side of the green is much flatter.
